Where does the instrument install to on my system?
You can select where larger content files are installed, including on an external drive.
During installation select where you would like the "Audio Content" to be installed.
Each plug-in type automatically installs to a fixed location on your system drive related to each audio platform.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\
In addition files such as the instrument resources (the small files) will always install on your system drive.

Can I move instrument data like audio content to another drive?
Of course.
During installation you can choose where all audio content is stored.
If you later decide to change drives or want the file in another place, just move the folder manually to your desired location.
The next time you load the plugin it will prompt you to find and reconnect the files. Follow the onscreen instruction to point the plug-in to the new location and done. It will remember your new path from then on.
If there's an update released, will the new version affect my old sessions?
Updating a plug-in will not affect the behaviour of previous sessions with older plug-in versions.
Although it is always best practise not to update anything in the midst of an important project.
How do I uninstall your plug-ins?
To fully uninstall your plug-in, you will need to remove all references to the instruments found in the following locations:
You can make an ebbandflow plug-in or "activation" account by either following the "Create Account" link in your original purchase email, or by following the onscreen instructions when you first load one of our plug-ins.
*NOTE If this is your first purchase you will need to create an account, checking out alone does not do this for you automatically.
I can't make an activation account, help, you are my only hope.
Make sure you clicked the CREATE AN ACCOUNT button either in your original purchase email, or your Plug-In Activate screen. If you are unable to successfully make an activation account this is likely due to already having one, in which case, hitting Forgot Password can help you reset your credentials. If this is not the case, get in touch and we can manually create an account for you.
Help! I've forgotten my password.
Not to worry, happens to the best of us. Clicking "Forgot Password" in our plug-in takes you to your account page. Follow the instructions to reset your account log in details.
How many computers can I install your instruments on?
You can install on up to 2 separate computers under a single user licence. e.g a desktop and a laptop used by the same person.
Do your instruments need an internet connection to use?
An internet connection is required for first-time installation and registration. After that, all our plug-ins can run entirely offline.
How do I move an instrument to a new computer?
Access your order from your original invoice email or the ebbandflow website and re download the installer on your new computer. Once installed re enter your account details and your licence will be automatically updated. If you run into any issues, drop us an email and we'll get it sorted.
Can I activate a plug-in offline?
We don't currently offer offline activation. All our tools require a one-time online activation. If you prefer to keep your machine offline, we recommend completing activation at the point of download.

What D.A.Ws will your instruments work with?
Any D.A.W that hosts AU, VST, VST3 or AAX plug-ins are compatible.Logic Pro, Cubase, Reaper, Pro Tools, Ableton Live and Studio One have all been tested.
Does the plug-in run without a digital audio workstation?
Please refer to each instruments specifications to confirm standalone support.
Do your plug-ins support Apple Silicon?
Yes, both Intel and Apple Silicon CPUs are fully supported.
What are the minimum system requirements needed?

Does this run in Kontakt?
ebbandflow instruments are bespoke software release that run in a proprietary engine.
